Diana Lewis Jackson founded and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Action Management Facilities, Inc. (AFM), a premier government and commercial contract firm specializing in the building integrated facilities maintenance, janitorial/sanitation, administrative and security services. She joined the UBSI Board of Directors in 2022.
By prioritizing her clients’ missions, her employees’ well-being and investing in both corporate and community support, Jackson has grown AFM to include 400+ employees nationwide. AFM champions diversity through its employment practices and retention programs and is proud to be among the minority and women-owned small businesses that represent West Virginia.
For the past several decades, Jackson has focused on building her community through a myriad of organizations that prioritize education, health, support for the disadvantaged, and local entrepreneurship. She currently serves on the boards of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, Discover the Real West Virginia Foundation and West Virginia Regional Technology Park. Jackson is also a current WVU Medicine Cancer Institute council member and a commissioner of the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission. She was also previously appointed to the WVU Board of Governors and the WVU Hospital Board of Directors.
Among her many awards and notable accolades, Jackson was elected to the West Virginia Business Hall of Fame in 2021, selected as Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year in 2020, the Small Business Administration’s 8(a)-Graduate of the Year in 2016 and the West Virginia Small Business Person of the Year in 2013. She is a graduate of Fairmont State University with degrees in accounting and banking.
